After cruises on Celebrity Edge and Beyond, we felt defrauded. Cabins on both cruises falsely claimed to have "0 obstructed views." (see copy below) Emailed complaints to customer service got offers of credits on a future cruise, but follow up complaint to company CEO got no acknowledgement of receipt, let alone promise to correct future false representation.

Celebrity Cruises - Poor customer service

Do I bought an Aqua Class all inclusive cruise for 4 nights. I called to upgrade our cruise to premium drinks and premium WiFi, however the agent said we didnt have a drink or WiFi package.

I had to spend another $934 to upgrade to get the classic package that he said wasnt included even though I cannot drink alcohol or carbonated beverages for medical reasons, but my husband can. He said I had to pay for both of us to have the classic package unless I had a letter of medical necessity.

I have the letter so I called to upgrade my husband to premium and degrade myself to non-alcoholic. I told them I didnt need a refund, they could just issue a ship credit. Now all of a sudden they say I can upgrade but I cant downgrade because its already paid for.

Wasted an hour and a half of my time.

I asked that it be escalated and am still waiting in a call from leadership. I guarantee you can call and upgrade anything but for some reason you cant downgrade. Makes no sense at all. We are 3 weeks from sailing and it can be changed if they wanted to change it.

Customer service, all of them, work remote apparently, and none of them have ever provided good service.

You can always hear kids and dogs in the background and I get a sense they generally dont want to help and are aggravated by calls to fix something.

We will not be sailing with Celebrity again. I could have spent this money flying to a resort in the Caribbean instead, next time I will.

Post cruise issue

We have been on many celebrity cruises. The problem we had this past cruise is not new.

We were on the celebrity equinox 3/4-3/14 southern carribean from Ft Lauderdale. Our cabin number 7280 . We upgraded to the premium beverage package so that my husband could have Guinness beer as stated on the website . However only Guinness stout was available.

The beverage manager was wonderful. He agreed that stout is not the same as draft He checked all over the ship and finally called us to say it was not available . We purchased the upgrade and could not have what was stated was available . Several other cruises we were on ,had the same issue but finally did find the Guinness draft .

Not this cruise. I do believe we should be compensated for this . We have 2 cruises booked for next year .It makes no sense on my part to pay for this upgrade and not receive the service . Other than this issue , our cruises with celebrity are great.

. Many of our friends also saw what occurred with this issue. So, I ask, that we be compensated either financially or with onboard credit for our next booked cruises. .

This good faith act will go along way with many people Since this experience is known by many . I look forward to your favorable reply.

5 day cruise, 2 times no room service, (cleaning) Ordered morning coffee and tea with pastries, room service delivered the tray to our room and left. I immediately noticed that we had everything accept coffee cups! Are you kidding me! In the Tuscan Grill we requested drinks 8 times with no response. The food order was very slow, 85 minutes before receiving food. We finally got our drinks when we were 90% done with the main entree! Not good! Definitely not impressed.

Lack of response from your company with regard to a complaint

To whom it may concern

We had booked a cruise with your company for Christmas period 2023/2024 for myself & my partner...we paid in total 6400 for a couple, which is quite a substantial amount of money.

Our cruise ship was Celebrity Infinity

Resevation number ID 376**** in the name of Tunnah

We found the ship to be quite old in comparison with other cruise ships we have sailed with.

We found the food to be poor quality throughout the trip. The wifi was appalling & we had spoken to reception with regard to this matter as i had money on the card for the wifi which was useless.

The ports when we arrived were more like construction sites with nothing around them...was this a ploy to make sure people bought the over expensive tours onboard...we were extremely disappointed with the overall holiday experience with yourselves...we were looking forward to our Christmas cruise but came home disappointed & very reluctant to travel with your cruise line again & i feel that i could not genuinely trcomnend your company to anyone.

The lack of response either by phone or by email is also extremely bad customer protocol

PLEASE CAN SOMEONE RESPOND TO THIS QUERY /COMPLAINT ASAP

Couldn’t agree more. I would say they needed to do research but upon looking at what they received, they got what they paid for.

It was a 12 night cruise. Spain, Morocco and Canary Islands. The ship is 20 years old. If you paid for a suite you had an upgraded dining room.

All the regular cabins used the main dining hall. There are two gourmet restaurants for extra fee. Tours. You get what you pay for.

Herded on a bus like cattle or you rent a car.

Finally at $6400($3200/per person) is cheap over 12 nights considering room and all meals.(approx $265/day). They probably needed to spend double that amount.

Several things wrong

1. Only 2 Unisex bathrooms in the whole pool area!!! 2. Not enough women' stall especially by theater and other eating areas 3. No night light in room 4. No clocks in rooms 5. Drink size was very small, except in Specialty restaurants 6. NEED A LIST THAT TELLS YOU THE CLASSIC AND PREMIUM BARS. YOU COULD NOT TELL UNLESS YOU ASKED 7. i did not keep a receipt, but just pull up our names - Virginia & Ernie Pohl - we were on the Feb. 18th sailing.

I need my boarding passes

I have now received my tickets for the celebrity proves my information was packed. I was also in the cancer center and I was also being treated for third stage.

Kidney failure and my identity was stolen by my living caregiver ride was gone but I had 2 tickets for the celebrity cruise at V. I. P radio and octo her about my birthday. But I still haven't received my tickets on my tender rare, because I know the cruise is on it.

From the 13th to the 17th I have a cabin for 2 because I need them are with me, so it's not my cause I'm not. Please contact me. Because I know to cruise leaves. Aturday night, we need to know where we're going and chance to get on the cruise boat this isn't.

Drink packages

Reserved a drin k package on celebrity website prior.to sailing on celebrity solstice on 27 march from singapore. The following day returned to website to pay for drink packages and the discount was reduced from 20 percent to 10 percent. I tried to bring up my original reserve but it had disappeared. I was.under the belief that if you reserved something it remained reserved until payment. I know you can reserve cabins until payment l have participated in this before. Bad customer service

Ive been on 2 celebrity cruises and about to go on the 3rd. First time going to another country so I have some questions that I normally havent had. Ive called 3 times now and most of the questions I had were not really answered or the answers were wrong. They seem to not really no what they are talking about. I researched on my own and got some of my questions answered. Very frustrated Im spending alot of money on this trip to get really bad customer service!

More than once, we have used Celebrity Air which is part of Celebrity Cruises to book air fare in conjunction with our European or Asia Cruise. The return flight from Europe in Premium Economy was horrible, we were a group of eight and placed all over the airplane and some of us in middle seats.

We decided this time that we would book Business Class for the trip to Asia at approximately $6,000 per person. We were told at the time of booking the cruise with Celebrity Cruises that as soon as we paid off the balance, we could select our seats. All was well until we paid off the cruise to discover that to pick our seats, we have to pay almost $200 more each. Called Celebrity for them to point the finger at Qatar.

Bottom line is now we are being told to either pay an additional $200 per person or wait until check-in to select a seat. What a mess, this is a mess, both Celebrity Cruise/Celebrity Air and Qatar are a mess.

They are liars and they play games. You have been warned!
